Profile
Vayriel lost her parents early in life and was raised by her grandparents in one of the tight-knit Highblood communities, called coils. She displayed a deep connection to the life force from a young age, which manifested in the formation of a permanent bond with an animal companion. Her life force abilities included control of plants and healing. Like all her people, she was taught to consider life in all its form sacred and employ violence as a last resort. Vayriel sought to follow in her parents’ footsteps and became a Watcher: a protector of her coil. In all her duties she excelled, but still hungered for a sense of purpose and belonging. Her selection as a Truthseeker came as a surprise, but also with a revelation that changed the course of her life’s direction.
